  • What is KreweCar?
    Welcome to KreweCar! We are a transportation network company commonly called ridesharing. We offer premium, personalized service and car seats. Our goal is to encourage family fun in the safest way possible. We want families, including ours, to be able to travel lighter. Plan the vacation you've been thinking about and leave the cumbersome car seats at home. And, if you want to travel even lighter, we also have strollers and travel cribs that can be rented in some locations. Reach out to hello@krewecar.com for more information. All of our drivers are thoroughly vetted and undergo background checks before being hired.
  • How much does a ride cost?
    Rides to and from the airport are a flat rate. It's a base rate of $65.65 for 3 or less people. 4 - 6 people is an additional cost. There is no charge for 1 car seat. There is an additional charge for multiple car seats. We offer optional memberships that will give you $10 off airport rates and 10% off of around town rates. For non-airport rides, you will be given an estimate before the final confirmation on the booking page of the app. You will be charged once the ride is complete.
  • What happens if I need to cancel a ride?
    You can cancel a ride with no charge up to two hours before your pick up is scheduled. If you cancel within that time, there will be a cancellation fee of up to 75% of the fare.
  • Can I reschedule a ride?
    Absolutely. You will need to cancel your existing ride and make a new reservation. Or if it's within 6 hours of your ride, reach out to hello@krewecar.com to modify your reservation.
  • How many people can ride in 1 vehicle?
    Most of our drivers have SUVs that can accommodate 5 -6 passengers. We cannot transport more than 6. If you have 6 people and lots of luggage, we suggest that you book 2 vehicles.
  • How do I schedule a round trip ride?
    A round trip ride should be scheduled as two one-way rides.
  • What if I don't know what time I want to be picked up on the return trip?
    Please do your best to give us a good estimate of the time. If you are not ready at the time requested, you may request extra time and will be charged extra. Also, the ride is not guaranteed to be available at a different time than what was scheduled.
  • What happens after I request a ride?
    Your ride is confirmed once a driver has accepted it. You will be notified once it has been accepted.
  • How early do need to request a ride?
    Rides must be booked 6 hours in advance. Due to the logistics of the various car seat combinations, our drivers need advance notice. The earlier, the better.
  • How far in advance can I book a ride?
    Rides can be booked 60 days in advance. If you have a ride you want to schedule that is further out than that, email us at hello@krewecar.com.
  • What kind of car seats are used? And are they clean?
    All of our car seats pass all safety testing according to U.S. standards regulated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Car seats are cleaned after each use.
  • What is your policy on car seats?
    Our drivers can provide car seats or you can bring your own. In either case, if you (the parent, guardian, or caregiver) choose to use KreweCar or any of its subsidiaries, you are solely responsible for examining the car seat for proper installation and for properly securing the child in the car seat’s harness straps. KreweCar and its subsidiaries are not responsible or liable for improperly installed car seats or improperly secured children. In addition, you (the parent, guardian or caregiver) are responsible for choosing the appropriate type of car seat (rear facing, five point harness, booster seat) for the child based on the child's height and weight.
  • Can I book a ride if I don't have kids in car seats?
    Absolutely! We are a premium service, so if you are looking for a more personalized, clean ride with excellent customer service then KreweCar is for you and your krewe.
  • Where are you located?
    We are currently operating in New Orleans, Nashville and Charleston (MSY, BNA and CHS) with plans to expand very soon. We will keep you updated. Follow us on social media for the most up to date information.
